VINTAGE LOUIS XV OAK DISPLAY CABINET, CHINA CABINET in MIRANDA, New South Wales for sale
This very pretty vintage French Louis XV style display cabinet is made of solid oak and presents beautifully!! Stylistically, it has attractive lines and a lovely natural patina, a little darker than many French cabinets of this style.
The display cabinet features a single door with bevelled glass, two heavy fixed glass shelves and the timber base for display. The bottom section is an enclosed cupboard. The sides also have glass panels, giving an excellent display area.
The base of the cabinet has a fixed timber shelf. The display cabinet has a lovely shaped skirt to the base with central shell carving. The piece stands on small, carved cabriole legs with snail terminals. The original fittings, including original key, are still in place.
This lovely piece measures 165cm in height, 84cm wide across the pelmet and 80cm wide in the body. It is 45cm deep. The glass shelves have a depth of 35.3cm. The cabinet is in beautiful used condition.
